inp.polri.go.id – The Cengkareng Police arrested an ATM burglar with the initials of F (26) who took action at the Cengkareng Regional General Hospital (RSUD), West Jakarta some time ago. F did not act alone, but with his friend who is now on the Police Wanted List (DPO). Cengkareng Police Chief (Kapolsek Cengkareng) Commissioner Ardhie Demastyo said that F's arrest was based on a report from a citizen with the initials of IS who was suspicious of the perpetrator's behavior around the ATM. "So when we got there, the perpetrator was in the middle of breaking into the ATM at the Cengkareng Hospital," said Ardhie in Jakarta, Monday (18/4/2022). The perpetrators managed to steal around Rp. 1 million in cash. F is known to have acted together with his partner with the initials W (25) who is currently being wanted by the police. "We are still developing this case to hunt down his friend," said Ardhie. However, Ardhie could not explain in more detail the ATM burglary. He suspects the perpetrator did his action not only once and always moved from place to place. "When we arrested the other one, we will inform you again," he said. Previously, the arrest of the ATM burglar had gone viral on social media Instagram @cengkarengnews. The burglary incident was reported to have occurred in the early hours of Friday, April 8, 2022.
