inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. Jambi Regional Police became the first who established the blood donor village in Indonesia as per the decree of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). This coincides with the 73rd Indonesian Police Public Relations Day.
Jambi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono says that his party had held a blood donation activity while launching the blood donor village.
“The launch of this blood donor village also demonstrates our concern for others," he explained on Tuesday (10/29/2024).
Rusdi also emphasized the commitment to cooperate and synergize with the Jambi City PMI in the humanitarian mission to help provide blood bag stocks.
In addition, he hopes that the existence of a blood donor village can encourage active participation from personnel to continue the blood donor activities as to show positive examples in efforts to save lives through blood donation.
"I hope that our personnel will continue to follow in this footsteps by determining a blood donor village in their respective areas. This is also a form of police service to the community, and we hope that it will be beneficial for the community," he said
