The Government and the Police Permits Indonesian Football League to Resume

inp.polri.go.id - Indonesian Football Association announced that the Indonesian League 1 competition would resume. League 1 will start on December 5 until the end of December 2022. However, the League will be held without spectators and a bubble system which will be held in the Provinces of DIY and Central Java. In the second and subsequent rounds, it is planned to continue using the home and away system, but with a limited number of spectators. The implementation plan has received a crowd permit from the National Police based on Police Law No. 10 of 2022 concerning Security for Sports Competitions. "Thank you to President Joko Widodo who continues to pay extraordinary attention to Indonesian football. Thank you also to the Minister of Sport, Zainudin Amali, who tirelessly helped us to restart the competition," said Indonesian Football Association Chairman, Mochamad Iriawan, on Saturday (3/12). "I would also like to thank the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo for the crowd permit that has been given, and also thanks to all those who have helped with the resumption of the league,” he explained further. It is reported that the stadiums that will be used for the first round will be Manahan Stadium in Solo, Jatidiri Stadium in Semarang, Maguwoharjo Stadium in Sleman, M. Soebroto Stadium in Magelang, and Sultan Agung Stadium in Bantul.
