JAKARTA - The Indonesian National Police Chief General Idham Azis admitted that he had sent the Tinombala Task Force to Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi to search for the East Indonesian Mujahidin group led by Ali Kalora for the murder of a family and the burning of a resident's house last Friday (27/11). The former head of the Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency emphasized that the state must not lose to terror groups that have committed acts of murder against the public regardless of their excuses. "I have told the members, their firm action. If you find them then fight back, just shoot them to death, "said Idham in his statement, Monday (30/11/2020). According to him, apart from the Police of the Republic of Indonesia, the Commander of the Indonesian National Army, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, has also deployed Indonesian National Army troops to search for and surround Ali Kalora's group. "We will look for a number of places that have been the hiding places of the Ali Kalora group," said the former Kapolda Metro Jaya. President Jokowi previously admitted that he had ordered the Indonesian National Police Chief Gen. Idham Azis and the Indonesian National Army Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto to deal with the terror attack. He asked the National Police Chief to thoroughly investigate the perpetrators of the terror to the root. He also ordered the Commander in Chief to deploy his troops to guard the areas that were being targeted by terror. "I have ordered the Indonesian National Police Chief and the commander to thoroughly investigate the network of perpetrators and dismantle the network to its roots," Jokowi said in his statement on Monday (30/11/2020). Jokowi strongly condemns this barbaric act because it is very clear that it creates provocation and terror in the community with the aim of destroying unity and harmony among the nation's citizens.
