inp.polri.go.id - East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police Chief Inspector General Setyo Budiyanto emphasized that the arrest of gambling players, including low-level online gambling, could be an entry point for dismantling big players of gambling in NTT. This was conveyed in connection with the efforts of the NTT Police in uncovering gambling cases, not only online gambling but also conventional gambling. "We hope that the arrest of lower-level gamblers can be an entry point for uncovering the dealer of this gambling case in NTT," explained the Regional Police Chief, Friday (26/8/22). The Police Chief said that all forms of public ills, such as gambling in any form, were targeted for disclosure. "We will also arrest the perpetrators and process them according to the available evidence," he said. In addition, Inspector General Setyo Budiyanto also said that to uncover gambling cases in NTT, they need the role of the community in which by simply reports or provides information of gambling if they find any.
