inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. AKP Rudi Wiransyah, a member of the Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya, was the victim of assault during the demonstration of 11 April 2022 in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building, and was allowed to return home. Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo said that Rudi's condition had gradually improved after undergoing treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta. "Thankfully, his condition has improved," said Sambodo, Saturday (16/4/2022). Sambodo said AKP Rudi had been allowed to go home and undergo outpatient treatment. Even so, Sambodo has not been able to confirm when his men will return to duty. As previously reported, the Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Fadil Imran and his staff visited four members of the National Police, one of whom is Rudi, who is still being treated at the Police Hospital to this day. The four police officers became victims of the mob beatings during demonstration in front of the DPR/MPR Building, last Monday. Rudi himself was assaulted while trying to evacuate the cars that were stuck on the toll road in front of the DPR/MPR Building. "We tried to evacuate the vehicles on the toll road to turn around. However, suddenly we were attacked by the masses," said Sambodo, Monday. Not only that, the vehicle used by Rudi was also damaged by the masses. "Incidentally AKP Rudi was far behind," said Sambodo.
