inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Metro Jaya Police said that the arrangement of working hours for workers in Jakarta is still being discussed. This policy is aimed to break down congestion in Jakarta.
Deputy Director of Metro Jaya Police Traffic Unit, AKBP Rusdy Pramana, said the discourse on setting working hours for workers in Jakarta is still rolling. The plan is that the police will also invite relevant parties for their input.
"We done the coordination, and of course we will follow this up. Next week we will have a meeting and invite relevant stakeholders," explained AKBP Rusdy Pramana, Tuesday (26/7/22).
AKBP Rusdy Pramana said in a meeting with related parties, Metro Jaya Police would welcome every input and criticism regarding the policy, and hoped that this plan could be fully prepared.
"This is only a suggestion from us, an idea that we must discuss with each relevant agency. We will having a discussion with the Department of Transportation to the Ministry of Manpower, and the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia, together we will discuss this proposal," explained the Deputy Director Metro Jaya Police Traffic Unit.
Previously, Director of Metro Jaya Traffic Unit, Police Commissioner Latif Usman has prepared a number of plans to overcome the traffic jams in Jakarta. One of them is that the working hours must be fixated and arranged so that they do not pile up at the same time.
