inp.polri.go.id - The Riau Islands Police held a Shooting Competition between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) and journalists on Tuesday (28/06/2022). The Riau Islands Police Shooting Competition was opened directly by the Riau Islands Deputy Chief of Police, Brigadier General Drs. Rudi Pranoto.
The activity was also attended by the main officials of the Riau Islands Police, TNI commanders, the chairman of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI), the chairman of the Indonesian Television Journalists Association (IJTI), the chairman of the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) of Batam City, the Chief Editor and the media crew in Riau Islands.
The Deputy Chief of the Riau Islands Police said that the shooting competition was in conjunction with the 76th Bhayangkara Day in 2022. He also explained that this shooting competition was held for the TNI-Polri and their fellow journalists, so that the relationship between them will be well established.
The Deputy Chief of Police also hopes that this shooting competition will continue in the future so that their good relations can be maintained.
Furthermore, regarding easy access for information, the Press Council stated that Riau Islands Province is the best in Indonesia in terms of information disclosure.
This year's shooting competition was won by the Deputy Chief Unit of Riau Island Police’s Mobile Brigade, AKBP Ahmad Nurman Ismail.
The runner up was won by the Barelang Police Chief, Commissioner Nugroho Tri Nuryanto. And, in the third winner is the Chief HR Bureau of the Riau Islands Police, Commissioner Deni Setyo Utomo.
