Approximately 3,979 joint personnel are deployed to ensure the security of the homecoming flow in Lampung.
Lampung Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Helmy Santika emphasized that his party has prepared various traffic control plans in facing the surge of travelers in the homecoming season.
“We also guarantee that our personnel stationed in the departure points are ready to support the smooth homecoming flow,” says Helmy on Monday (3/24/2025).
In addition to traffic control, officers also conduct strict checks on vehicles to anticipate illegal travels that do not have an official permit.
"We will not tolerate illegal vehicles operating without a permit. This is for the safety of the community so that they can go home safely and comfortably," explained the Lampung Regional Police Chief.
Helmy Santika also said that his party is working with various related agencies to ensure that all vehicles used by travelers have complete and valid documents.
In his closing statement, Helmy appealed to the public to obey traffic rules and choose official and licensed modes of transportation.
"We should always remember that our own safety is our top priority. We appeal to the public to use official transportation and always be careful during the trip," he said.
