The inspection was to ensure the product standards that are sold to the public, whether the contents of the cooking oil or the price that are sold.
The check was carried out by measuring MinyaKita cooking oil contents by pouring it into a one litre cup/vessel.
This activity is part of the South Kalimantan Regional Police's efforts to monitor and maintain the stability of the supply and quality of food products, especially cooking oil, amidst the high needs of the community.
The authorities decided to check on MinyaKita cooking oil because it is one of the cooking oil brands that is widely circulated in the market and consumed by the public.
The team appealed to the public to always be vigilant and report if they find a product defect that is not in accordance with the standards
"Public can report through the channels provided by the South Kalimantan Regional Police if they find indications of violations related to food products," said South Kalimantan Regional Police official, Police Senior Inspector Suparli.
South Kalimantan Regional Police is committed to continue carrying out strict supervision of food products, especially those the basic necessities products.
