inp.polri.go.id - Cikampek. The Air Security Unit of Indonesian National Police (INP) Security Maintenance Agency prepares two air ambulances to anticipate emergency situations on the road amidst the homecoming season.
The two air ambulances are stationed at KM 29 of Cikampek Toll Road and Kalikangkung Toll Road, Semarang.
“We are sure that with these air ambulances, we can support the smooth implementation of 2025 Ketupat Operation,” says the Head of the Air Security Sub-unit, Senior Superintendent Agus Herli Sudiawan on Tuesday (3/25/2025).
He explained that in the two air ambulances, nine joint personnel from the medical unit and air security unit are assigned. They consisted of two medical personnel, two SAR teams, and five helicopter crews.
This Air Ambulance, he said, will be on standby on the homecoming route until April 8, 2025. If later there is an accident or urgent event that requires assistance to the victim, the Air Ambulance is able to carry 1 patient and 1 paramedic.
"The target locations for the Air Ambulance evacuation are 8 hospitals in Central Java, 9 hospitals in Greater Jakarta, and 9 nearest RSUDs on the Pantura route," he explained.
The Air Ambulance is equipped with one Ventilator; 3 oxygen tanks; Monitor and Defibrillator; Syringe Pump; Infusion Pump; Suction Pump; Portable Stretcher; and Portable Oxygen.
