The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga met with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), local figures, religious figures, cultural figures, and related stakeholders of South Timor Tengah (TTS) Regency in TTS Sub-regional Police HQ Hall. In the meeting, Daniel remarks the importance of good Electronic ID-Card (E-KTP) recording in guaranteeing maximum participation of the election. The Two-Star General of NTT Regional Police also highlights there are 4,000 people left in TTS who have not been recorded, and urge all parties involved to push the effort in recording the remaining election participants. Furthermore, Daniel also reaffirmed the neutrality of military and police in the election. He said that the two-security institution neutrality plays an integral part in ensuring the election goes smoothly. On the other hand, the meeting between important figures of the regency with the government officials is important as they could voice their suggestions and critiques directly. Of the meeting held by the police, TTS Regent conveyed his gratitude for the NTT Regional Police for their visit to TTS and for their effort in ensuring the election goes smoothly. (ad/as/pr/nm)
