The Ministry of Transmigration, in conjunction with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), held a Drug Abuse Prevention Socialization event at the Makarti Muktitama Building on Friday (7/25/2025). The socialization included drug tests for all employees, including the Minister of Transmigration, M. Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagara.

"This drug test is not just about prevention. It also demonstrates how we should be honest with ourselves. Prevention is better than cure," said the Minister of Transmigration in a written statement, as reported by RRI on Sunday (7/27/2025).

He also expressed his highest appreciation to the BNN for taking the time to provide guidance on the dangers of narcotics.

This activity aims to improve discipline and create a healthy, professional environment in accordance with the national P4GN program.

"This will motivate us and raise awareness to avoid the dangers of narcotics," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Marthinus Hukom, expressed his appreciation to Minister Iftitah for organizing this outreach program as a demonstration of her concern for the Ministry of Transmigration's employees.

"The President has a moral foundation, as outlined in Asta Cita (Asta Cita) and 17 priority programs. One of these is the eradication of narcotics," he said.

Marthinus Hukom, expressed his gratitude to Minister Iftitah for his year and a half in office. For the first time, he was invited directly by Minister Iftitah to provide guidance on drug prevention and the dangers of narcotics.

"I express my appreciation to the Minister of Transmigration, because during his tenure as head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), this is the first time I've been invited directly by him, and the Minister has also voluntarily participated in a drug test," he said.
