inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Transportation Ministry begins to review the land transportation in Nusantara Capital City (IKN) to ensure smooth operation on August 17th, 2024.
“We prepared 97 fossil fueled buses that will operate on August 10th to 18th August,” said the Director General of Land Transportation, Risyapudin Nursin on Wednesday (8/7/2024).
The buses will serve the general guests and operate with a shuttle system in the IKN Central Government Core Area (KIPP). On the other hand, the buses will also serve the guests from airport to hotel and vice versa.
“We will schedule the departure for each bus station so there won’t be congestion at the drop off area,” said Nursin.
In pulling this off, the Transportation Ministry will have to work together with various stakeholders, including the East Kalimantan Regional Police for traffic and bus parking lot management.
