inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Transportation Ministry regulates that cargo deliveries by truck to be limited on March 13-29, 2026 for the sake of smooth homecoming and return flow.
“The limitation for cargo deliveries during Eid season will be limited from March 13, 2026 at 12.00 to March 29, 2026 at 24.00,” says the Director General of Land Transportation Aan Suhanan on Thursday (2/12/2026).
The regulation is applied both for toll roads and arterial roads for freight vehicles with three or more axles, freight vehicles with attached trailers, trailers, and freight vehicles transporting excavations, mining products, and building materials.
"The distribution of goods can still be carried out by vehicles with two axles, except for excavated goods such as soil, sand, stone, mining products, and building materials such as iron, cement, and wood," explained Director General Aan.
Freight vehicles that are exempt from the restrictions or can still operate with three or more axles are those transporting fuel/gas fuel, livestock, fertilizer, and natural disaster relief.
Furthermore, basic goods are permitted, provided the vehicle used does not exceed the load and dimensions indicated in the contract/agreement between the goods owner and the transportation operator.
Vehicles permitted to operate must still be equipped with a bill of lading with several provisions: issued by the owner of the goods being transported, and containing information on the type of goods, destination, and the name and address of the owner.
"Finally, it must be affixed to the left windshield of the goods vehicle," said Director General Aan.
