Inp.polri.go.id - Trenggalek. The Trenggalek Sub-regional Police organized a "Free Friday Breakfast" social drive at Pon Market, East Java, on Friday (21/8/2026), serving free traditional meals to hundreds of local residents.
Officers bought out local micro, small, and medium enterprises to distribute 100 free portions of nasi pecel (rice with peanut sauce) to market visitors, pedestrians, and workers.
"This initiative goes beyond handing out free breakfast; it carries a noble mission to support and grow local micro, small and medium enterprises in Trenggalek," said Traffic Unit Chief Assistant Senior Inspector Kharisma Afriansyah
Female police officers assisted in preparing and serving meals, while other personnel managed traffic and parking around the busy market square. Local residents praised the police force, noting that the community program effectively builds closer public relationships while providing a practical platform for traffic safety and law enforcement education.
