Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Indonesia reaffirmed their shared commitment to tolerance, moderation, and peaceful coexistence during a seminar at the Indonesia International Book Fair (IIBF) in Jakarta on Wednesday (24/9/2025). 

“These values are reflected in the Document on Human Fraternity, the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace, the Muslim Council of Elders, and Indonesia’s Pancasila, which emphasizes unity in diversity,” UAE Ambassador to Indonesia Abdulla Salem Al-Dhaheri said, as quoted by antaranews.com. 

He underlined that culture and knowledge act as bridges to strengthen peace and mutual understanding among nations.

The seminar, attended by foreign diplomats, underscored growing cultural ties between the two countries. Indonesia will be the Guest of Honor at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026, while the UAE will hold the same role in Jakarta next year. 

Ambassador Al-Dhaheri noted that the two nations now stand as a model partnership, advancing peace, stability, and development globally.
