West Java Police Arrested the Woven Cloth Thieves Worth of 90 Million Rupiahs in Kopo Area

inp.polri.go.id - A gang of woven cloth thieves from a warehouse in the Kopo area, South Margahayu, Bandung Regency was arrested by the police. The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Police Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo said, a total of six perpetrators were arrested with the initials MS, DS, YS, SR, MM, TG and the other one, Y, was on the wanted list. In conducting their criminal acts, the perpetrators used a ladder to enter the warehouse, then took the Woven and then sold it to the buyer. "So, these perpetrators parked their vehicles in front of the warehouse, then they divided their roles. There were those who were on guard and those who brought the Woven cloth stored in the warehouse to the vehicle," explained the West Java Regional Police Intermediate Officer. The perpetrators managed to took 159 rolls of cloth from the warehouse which were then sold to a buyer with the initials of MA in the Karasak Moch area, Bandung. "They sold the stolen goods for about Rp. 93,412,000," said Police Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo. For their actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code and or Article 480 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 9 years in prison.
