inp.polri.go.id - In the celebration of the 2022 National Children's Day, the East Java Police Chief, Inspector General Nico Afinta Karo-Karo was given a special award for carrying out Special Protection Efforts for Victims of Child Sexual Abuse in the East Java region. The award, which was attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo and Minister of PPPA RI (Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia), I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati, was held at Teisjmen Park, Bogor Botanical Gardens, West Java, Saturday (23/7).
The highlight of the 2022 National Children's Day Commemoration, began with singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya, followed by children's songs and the screening of FAN videos and reading the Voice of Indonesian Children.
The activity was continued with a Speech from the Minister of PPPA, awards, and interfaith closing prayers by the Children's Forum.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic of Indonesia visited several areas (traditional playgrounds, educational booths, traffic parks) and greeted the children on the Main Stage.
The activity went safely and smoothly while still adheres to health protocols.
