West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Accelerates Vaccination in Lombok by Door Prize and Rewards for Health Workers

inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. The Covid-19 vaccination in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) keeps accelerating. In the Central Lombok region, the host of the World Superbike Championship in Mandalika, the minimum vaccination rate of 70% required by the WSBK has been achieved, even surpassed the target. This achievement cannot be separated from the effort of the Vaccination Acceleration Task Force of NTB Province that keeps innovating the vaccination commencement in NTB. Giving door prizes to the people becomes the innovative creation conducted by the Task Force. The method proved to enhance the public vaccination participation rate in Central Lombok. "We gave door prizes to the people based on queueing number's lottery to help increase the participation rate, and people are happy to join the vaccination programme", Deputy Chief of Vaccination Spread Acceleration Task Force of NTB Province, Police Grand Commissioner Awan Hariono, on Monday (11/10/21). According to him, besides the door prize for the people, the Task Force also rewards the health workers and vaccinators that managed to get the highest point in the vaccination programme. "So the health workers and vaccinators with the most public mobilisation and recorded the most vaccination get rewarded with operational budget addition and cash prize as the award", he said. The innovative measures of the Task Force are the instructions of Chief of NTB Regional Police, Police Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal, who is really serious about handling vaccination acceleration in NTB. "We followed up the instructions of Chief of Regional Police on vaccination acceleration by some innovation so that vaccination rate could be conducted optimally in NTB", Police Grand Commissioner Awan Hariono said.
