Inp.polri.go.id – West Sulawesi. Ahead 2024 Elections, West Sulawesi Police continues to solidify their preparation on realizing safe and secure situation during the important period of the country. One of the preparations held by the police are rallying members for Mantap Brata Operations. West Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Adang Ginanjar, led the rally in front of d’Maleo Hotel. The thousands personnel of Indonesian Military Force (TNI) – Indonesian National Police (INP), National SAR Agency (Basarnas), Civil service police Unit, Department of Transportation, Communication Center, General Election Commission and Election Supervisory Body gathered in one place in preparation to face challenges of 2024 Elections. He hoped all state elements to actively participate in succeeding the 2024 Elections. Moreover, next year elections would have its own complexity due to simultaneous legislative and presidential elections. This proves as a big challenge due to vast area government officials has to cover. Police also prepared 2023-2024 Nusantara Cooling System Operation to establish the main theme of “Unity and Integrity, Progress of the Nation Above Group Interests”. The operation was formed to anticipate polarization of hoax news, racist news, firehouse of falsehood propaganda and black campaign. The operation includes anti-money politics task force and peace election task force. The police chief then explains the personnel involved in the operation from the West Sulawesi Police is 1,024 personnel with additional force of 1,620 personnel from its sub-regional police.
