inp.polri.go.id - West Sulawesi. As a strategic effort to strengthen food security and improve the nutrition of the people of West Sulawesi, the Regional Police of West Sulawesi launched the Sustainable Food Yard Program at the Joglo sustainable food yard on Monday (2/24/2025).

This action is not just a ceremonial activity, but a symbol of real commitment in building a sustainable and integrated food system in the region.

The activity began with a video conference with the General Chairperson of Bhayangkari, Miranti Adang, which demonstrates a solid and coordinated collaboration in this initiative,

After the video conference, the West Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Adang Ginanjar, together with Miranti and other invited guests were directly involved in various activities, from planting to harvesting corn, chilies and cassava.

A demonstration of hydroponic cultivation was also shown, showing the diversity of agricultural techniques adopted in this program.

Furthermore, in the yard, a fish seed container has also been prepared, showing efforts to integrate fisheries into a more holistic food system. This initiative is designed not only to produce food, but also to empower communities and improve long-term food security.
