Inp.polri.go.id – West Sumatra. The West Sumatra Regional Public Relations Division intensify cyber patrol to anticipate contents or news that could disrupt digital security and order. The PR Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Dwi Sulistyawan says that the cyber patrol is carried out routinely and proactively with advanced technology and deep data analysis to detect any suspicious activities in the digital space that could disrupt security. “This step demonstrates our commitment in ensuring the situation in the digital space remains conducive,” says Dwi on Thursday (3/7/2024). Furthermore, Dwi says that in maintaining election security and integrity, cyber patrol unit continue to monitor and identify social media contents and news. Other than anticipating cyber threats, team also provide education to the netizens regarding the importance of cyber security and how to avoid online scams. “With our continuous cyber patrol and high public awareness, we hoped that the 2024 General Election would remain goes smoothly,” said Dwi in his closing statement.
