Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Bogor Regency administration supported the Ministry of Transportation’s plan to introduce public buses under the Buy The Service (BTS) program on the Cibinong-Puncak route.

Bogor Regency Secretary Ajat Rochmat Jatnika said on Wednesday (8/1/2025) that the Bogor Transportation Office is collaborating with the ministry to determine bus stop locations. 

"The Ministry has planned around 20 buses for this route. We're currently identifying bus stops," he said, as reported by antaranews.com..

The program aims to provide affordable, subsidized transport for residents and tourists, reducing traffic congestion and road accidents in the Puncak area. The service is expected to launch by February 2025.

"This will allow people to park their motorcycles and use buses at low costs, easing access to Puncak," Suntana explained.

The initiative is a part of the government’s long-term strategies, including road infrastructure projects like the Caringin-Cisarua-Cianjur Toll Road, to address Puncak’s persistent traffic problems
