In addition to her victory, fellow Indonesian Anastasia Aresyenan Bwariat claimed bronze, while Muhammad Aden Aryadippa finished fourth in the same category.
“This victory is not just about medals but about perseverance, courage, and determination to push beyond limits. They have proven that limitations are not obstacles to success,” said Indonesia’s Charge d’Affaires in Rome, Tika Wihanasari, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Naswa, hailing from South Kalimantan, performed Flying High, a modernized Dayak dance blending traditional and contemporary elements. Meanwhile, Tasya energized the audience with the Betawi Ondel-Ondel dance.
The Indonesian team, though small, remains determined to showcase the nation’s talent on the world stage, with upcoming competitions in the duo and team dance categories on Friday.
