inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait (Ara) revealed data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as a reference for targeting housing assistance.

"The President's directive is clear regarding centralized data at BPS under the supervision of Bappenas. The President's first message is not to miss the target. I will consistently use data from BPS. I will issue a Ministerial Instruction that the data that must be used in housing development is from BPS," said the Minister of PKP, Thursday (6/2/2025).

He will use data on Low-Income Communities (MBR) from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as a reference for targeting housing assistance.

The Minister of PKP said that the data from BPS will soon be used in running various housing assistance programs for MBR.

"We only need one, we will soon run programs that require data such as FLPP (Housing Financing Liquidity Facility), BSPS (Self-Help Housing Stimulus Assistance) and flats for the community," said the Minister of PKP.

Previously, the Minister of PKP had instructed housing developer associations to prepare data on estimated costs for building subsidized houses.

The data will be one of the bases in calculating the new subsidized housing scheme, which is the plan to change the proportion of Home Ownership Credit with the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (KPR FLPP) scheme in 2025.

According to the Minister of PKP, the data on the cost of building subsidized houses is also needed as a basis for determining more appropriate prices for subsidized houses.

The Minister of PKP said that in preparing policy changes in the housing sector, he did not want anyone to be harmed, be it the people, the state, or entrepreneurs.
