Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati has hinted that the 13th and 14th salaries, or a type of holiday allowances, for Indonesian civil servants are likely to be disbursed as planned.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday (6/2/2025),she said that the budget for these payments has been prepared, though she did not provide specific figures.

“Just wait for further announcements. The process is ongoing. God willing, it will be disbursed,” Minister Sri Mulyani said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The development comes amid speculation over potential cuts to civil servant benefits following President Prabowo’s directive to streamline the 2025 state budget by Rp306.69 trillion. However, Minister Sri Mulyani clarified that employee salaries and social assistance programs are exempt from these cuts.

Earlier, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto addressed rumors of the allowances being scrapped, deferring further details to the Finance Ministry. The issue has sparked widespread debate on social media, with many awaiting official confirmation.
