Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  President Prabowo Subianto has established a task force to accelerate downstream industrialization and strengthen national energy resilience.

Based on presidential decree No 1/2025 issued on Friday (9/1/2025), the team,  led by Minister of Energy Bahlil Lahadalia, will coordinate efforts across ministries, agencies, and regional governments, according to antaranews.com.

The task force will focus on key sectors such as mining, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, aiming to increase the value of domestic commodities. It will also address energy resilience through oil, gas, coal production, renewable energy development, and infrastructure construction, including pipelines and electricity systems.

The task force is tasked with formulating policies, resolving bottlenecks, identifying strategic projects, and fast-tracking legal processes. It reports directly to the President and has authority to recommend administrative actions against officials deemed hindering progress.
