inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Bogor Sub-regional Police deployed 1,097 joint personnel to secure the opening match of the 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup (AFF Cup) between the Indonesian National Team and Cambodia at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor Regency, on Monday (7/27/2026) night.

Bogor Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Wikha Ardilestanto, stated that the 1,000 personnel were on standby to ensure the international match proceeded safely, orderly, and smoothly.

"The Bogor Sub-regional Police, along with elements of the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the Bogor Regency Government, are ready to ensure the success of the 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup, professionally, humanely, and in accordance with international safety regulations," Wikha said in Cibinong on Monday.

The 1,097 joint personnel comprised 572 Bogor Sub-regional Police personnel, 297 operational control support (BKO) personnel from the West Java Regional Police and the Indonesian National Police (INP) Headquarters, and 228 personnel from related agencies.

According to Wikha, the integrated security system was implemented to anticipate the high enthusiasm of supporters at Pakansari Stadium, which has a capacity of 30,857 spectators.

On the other hand, according to committee data as of Monday at 11:05 a.m., 9,014 tickets had been sold for the Indonesia vs. Cambodia match. The match was also supported by a seat-filling program for 9,000 spectators.

Meanwhile, ticket sales for the Indonesia vs. Vietnam match have reached 8,140 and are expected to continue to grow.

Chief Wikha urged all supporters to comply with officers' instructions, maintain order, and work together to create a conducive atmosphere throughout the tournament.
