Inp.polri.go.id - Sukabumi. A total of 1,848 new police officers were officially inaugurated at the closing ceremony of the Police Inspector School (SIP) Batch 55 and SIP Special Intelligence Batch 11, led by Indonesian National Police (INP) Deputy Chief Commissioner General Prof. Dr. Dedi Prasetyo in Sukabumi on Thursday (4/6/2026).
The graduates consist of 1,798 from SIP Batch 55 and 50 from SIP Special Intelligence Batch 11. Nearly 90 percent of these officers will be assigned back to regional and sub-regional police commands to fill critical frontline positions.
“These officers will strengthen Samapta and public service functions, which are the frontline of the INP’s interaction with society,” said Chief Dedi.
He said that services such as the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT), Hotline 110, Command Center, and Samapta units are the face of the INP that shape public perception.
The INP continues to improve quick response services through technology, better SPKT operations, and enhanced Samapta functions. The Deputy Chief stressed that public service quality must be fast, transparent, and humanist, forming the foundation of Polri’s transformation.
The presence of these new officers is expected to accelerate the INPs service transformation down to the sub-regional police and police offices levels, ensuring that the public feels the institution’s role as protector, guardian, and servant across Indonesia.
