National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, again ordered all ranks starting from the Regional Police Chief and Resort Police Chiefs throughout Indonesia simultaneously to conduct large-scale patrols in the context of distributing social assistance to communities affected by Covid-19. This is done to accelerate and ensure the distribution of social assistance is appropriate and on target. The instructions were submitted to be carried out Friday (24/7/21) at 21.00 local time. "To the ranks of the Regional Police and the Resort Police, at 21.00 WIB later, to carry out the apple activity and continue with large-scale patrols to distribute social assistance," said the National Police Chief, Friday (07/24/21). In his statement, the National Police Chief emphasized that the National Police would actively assist the community, especially those most affected by Covid-19. "All of our efforts are for the safety of the community. Of course we all hope that the growth rate of Covid-19 will decrease, so that people can return to their activities. Hopefully, everything we do becomes a field of charity for all of us," said the National Police Chief. In addition, the former Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police also reiterated to all his staff to continue to act humanely and to be active and proactive in distributing social assistance from the Government. "Distribution of social assistance and pharmaceutical with proactive and reactive methods so that they can be right on target," said the former Police Criminal Investigation Officer.
