Inp.polri.go.id - Palangka Raya. The distribution of social aid packages is still underway by the Central Kalimantan Regional Police to the people affected by Covid-19 and self-isolating because they tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday (23/07/2021).
The distribution activity was directly led by Deputy Chief of Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Ida Oetari Poernamasasi, accompanied by Woman Police of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police in two subdistricts of Menteng and Jekan of Palangka Raya city.
During the occasion, the Deputy Chief of Regional Police said that there are two basic necessities distribution points for self-isolating people: at G. Obos street and Tingang street, and also at the dormitory of Eka Sinta Church.
"Today, we delivered 150 basic necessities packages for the people, and also 250 ready-to-eat packages that are also given to the people", the one-star general said.
Besides, the Deputy Chief of Regional Police also explained that the basic necessities packages distribution is also an implementation of Presisi Police towards people affected by Covid-19 and to support national economic recovery.
"I hope that these aids could alleviate the burden of self-isolating people. I wish them a speedy recovery so they could do the usual activities", Deputy Chief of Regional Police said.
Meanwhile, the Church board and self-isolating residents thank the aid given by the Central Kalimantan Regional Police to the people affected by Covid-19.
