In order to ensure the success of Gubernatorial Elections of Papua Mountains and Regional Head Elections for the regent and vice regent of Tolikara Regency, Tolikara Sub-regional Police Personnel are closely monitoring the 2024 Regional Head Election logistics at the Tolikara Regency KPU Warehouse.

The Chief of Tolikara Sub-regional Police, Police Assistant Superintendent Irianto John explains that the ballots for the Papua Mountains Gubernatorial Elections and Tolikara Regent Elections have been prepared. As of now Tolikara Sub-regional Police personnel are closely monitoring the logistics safety as the voting day looms ahead.

“This is important considering the voting day is 7 days ahead. Now, we have to make sure that the ballots are ready to be distributed to each polling station without any hindrance. This monitoring will continue to be provided by us, starting from its distribution to 46 districts in Tolikara until the end of the elections,” explains Irianto John.

In his closing statement, John hopes that on the voting day, all social elements would band together to make the Regional Head Elections a success by maintaining a safe and conducive situation.
