inp.polri.go.id - West Java. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo attended the peak commemoration of the anniversary of the Islamic Community Union (PUI) and a joint prayer for the nation in Majalengka, West Java.
On that occasion, Sigit emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation to oversee and support all Indonesian government programs.
The success of all government programs requires collaboration from all elements of the nation. According to him, this is the key to facing all challenges, both global and domestic.
"Our hope for the future is that we can all be some kind of security guardians, to always remind each other not to be pitted against one another," Sigit said on Monday (2/23/2026).
He stated that if society continues to be pitted against each other, development and the goal of achieving a Golden Indonesia will be difficult to achieve.
Therefore, Sigit encouraged the continued nurturing of Indonesia's diversity so that it can become a strength for progress and development towards a better future.
"No matter how smart we are, no matter how capable each element of this nation is, if we stand alone and act based on our own egos, it will be difficult to bring about progress. This progress can only happen if we are all united," said Chief Sigit.
Therefore, Sigit asked the PUI (Indonesian Student Association) to help monitor negative aspects of society that could potentially hinder the goal of Indonesia Emas 2045, ranging from online gambling and online loans to drugs.
