Riau Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Yan Fitri Halimansyah claims he is ready to carry out the instruction of Indonesian President Joko Widodo after attending the Leadership Meeting in Jakarta on February 28th and 29th. There in the leadership meeting, also attended by Indonesian National Police Chief and Indonesian Military Force Chief, he heard the instruction and direction of the President. Yan then pledges that he would see that the instruction from the president would in realized by protection democratic process and maintaining public unity and harmony. Moreover, the president also asked the security institutions to be aware with the ever-changing social dynamic in maintaining security and order. On the other side of the note, President Joko Widodo conveyed his highest appreciation for the two Indonesian security institutions for their excellent duties and dedication in helping the community. He also further thanked the two institutions for securing the 2024 General Election. “The chemistry of the two institutions is a must that should not be shaken by any group,” said the INP Chief responding to the President.
