Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Police has named four of the 12 bullies in international private school in Serpong, as the suspects.
“Four witnesses now have been identified as suspects for committing violence against minor,” said South Tangerang Sub-regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief, Police Senior Inspector Alvino Cahyadi on Friday (3/1/2024).
The four suspects are E (18), R (18), J (18), and G (19). The unit chief says that the announcement was attended by Regional Supervision Inspectorate of Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police, the Law Division of Metro Jaya Regional Police, the Investigator Supervisor of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Professional and Security Division, Ministry of Women's Empowerment for Child Protection (KPPPA), and Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI).
In his announcement, Alvino also revealed that the legal status for the other seven bullies are raised into children in conflict with the law (ABH).
“Seven others are identified as ABH for allegedly committing violence against minor as is mentioned in Article 76C in conjunction with Article 80 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 regarding the second amendment to the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code,” said Alvino.
Meanwhile, one other bully is still being investigated for also committing violence against the victim.
Alvino says that due to their bully, the victim suffered numerous injuries such as, bruises, abrasions on the neck, burnt due to smoke on the back of the neck, and burnt on his left hand.
