inp.polri.go.id - Bangka Belitung. The Chief of Bangka Belitung Regional Police, Inspector General Hendro Pandowo, conducts a weekly evaluation on public order and security situation on Tuesday (6/10/2025).

In his remark, Hendro noted that public relations, particularly the use of media, plays a very active role in responding to and providing services to the community.

"Public aspirations and complaints can be conveyed well through the media," said Hendro Pandowo.

Hendro also explained that all public relations division members are expected to be able to proactively read and respond to public comments regarding the public order and security situation conveyed through social media. This is important to ensure that every input and complaint from the public can be followed up quickly and appropriately.

Furthermore, Hendro also highlighted the problem of violations by members that have serious impacts, especially online gambling and drugs. He reminded all ranks to always remind each other not to be involved in these violations.

"Member violations, especially those related to online gambling and drugs, have a very serious impact," noted Hendro Pandowo,.

To anticipate this, the Chief of Police emphasized to the head units to routinely inspect thei personnel. This aims to ensure that no members are involved in drug abuse or online gambling.

Finally, the Chief of Police also reminded that involvement in both activities will have a negative impact not only on work, but also on family life.
