Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have arrested a suspect in the high-profile kidnapping and murder of Mohamad Ilham Pradipta (37), a -branch bank manager in Central Jakarta. 

The suspect, identified as RS, allegedly organized the surveillance team that tracked the victim before his abduction.

“The suspect fled his residence in Candisari, Semarang, when officers came to arrest him,” Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi said on Wednesday (27/8/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Suspect RS was later arrested at a hiding place on Jalan Handayani, West Ungaran, Semarang Regency, in the early hours of Sunday. Investigators said he not only provided a monitoring unit but also arranged an IT team to support the operation.

He is one of 15 suspects now detained. Police confirmed the involvement of nine suspects, including alleged masterminds C, DH, YJ, and AA, and kidnappers AT, RS, RAH, and RW. 

The case remains under investigation, with roles of six other suspects still undisclosed.
