Inp.polri.go.id - Banten Regional Police has assigned dozens of personnel for traffic security for the World Water Forum Summit in Bali.

“In the event of the 10th World Water Forum Summit in Bali, we from the Banten Regional Police Traffic Directorate will join to support the course of the event by assigning our 40 personnel for VVIP and VIP guests security,” said Banten Police Traffic Director, Senior Superintendent Leganek Mawardi on Thursday (5/9/2024).

The international event reportedly involved various traffic units from regional police across Indonesia.

“A total of 2,446 joint traffic personnel from regional police traffic directorate throughout Indonesia are deployed to Bali to secure the international event,” continued Leganek.

The 10th World Water Forum in Bali will be held on May 18th - 25th, 2024. The Summit has been held once every three years since 1997, solely to discuss water issues in the world.
