inp.polri.gp.id - Serang. The Banten Regional Police attended the Evaluation Coordination Meeting for the Implementation of Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities in Jakarta, Banten, and West Java led by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan through a Zoom Meeting. Banten Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto, accompanied by the Deputy Head of Banten Police and attended by the Banten Regional Police's High-Rank Executives attending the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities Evaluation Coordination Meeting in the Vicon Room of the Banten Police Headquarter, Monday, (07/5/2021). The meeting was delivered by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs regarding the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities monitoring methodology through the Mobility Index and Night-light including 3 indicators of community mobility used, Facebook Mobility, Google Traffic, and Night-light from NASA, all three of which were made a composite index to describe mobility in general. Then, the combined mobility index in the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities method is then combined with the baseline period. “Based on historical analysis, it would take a -30% reduction in mobility to bring down the number of additional cases. However, with the delta variant, we estimate that we need a -50% reduction," said Luhut B. Pandjaitan. From the Anev, Banten Province received the highest mobility index or an overall reduction in mobility, which was -21.6%, an achievement that must be maintained and continuously improved to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. Meanwhile, within the jurisdiction of the Banten Regional Police itself, mobility has decreased with details, Tangerang City -24.7%, then Lebak 17.7%, Serang 18.2%, Serang City -20%, and Cilegon City 15.9%. On this occasion, the Banten Regional Police Chief conveyed the achievements that have been carried out in the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities, namely that in the near future we will push the Police Chiefs to achieve the target of up to 50% and close the access to potential crowds. "For us, it is better to close the access of buyers than us dealing directly with people who cause crowds, and we turn off street lighting at certain points where crowds often occur," said the Regional Police Chief. The Banten Regional Police Chief said that he had restricted the transportation of the Commuter Line or Train to Rangkasbitung – Jakarta and the Banten Police had prepared a random check post for those who came to Lebak Rangkasbitung Station. "And the Banten Regional Police have also succeeded in delaying the Simultaneous Regional Election in the Banten Regional Police's jurisdiction," said the Regional Police Chief. For the evaluation of the implementation of the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities, Coordinating Minister Marves said that the National Armed Forces/National Police hopes to continue to be consistent in carrying out mobility restrictions, do not give exceptions outside the critical and essential sectors, or for public services. Especially for the mobility of goods and logistics vehicles, especially to support the food and beverage industry and supporting sectors, it must be ensured that its smoothness is ensured. And, the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries asked the Banten Regional Police Chief, Banten Governor, and Lampung Regional Police Chief to ensure the smoothness and compliance of the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities at the Merak-Bakauheni Spread. Finally, Luhut B. Pandjaitan asked National Armed Forces/National Police personnel together with the Municipal Police to conduct patrols for compliance with the Health Protocol discipline.
