inp.polri.go.id - Bengkulu. The Bengkulu Regional Police Drug Investigation Directorate destroyed methamphetamine evidence from three different cases.
The three drug cases were the result of successful police investigations from July to August.
The destruction took place at the Bengkulu Regional Police Drug Investigation Directorate HQ on August 12, 2025, witnessed by the prosecutor's office, the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM), legal counsel, and the suspects.
The activity was led by the First Police Inspector Yudha Ferry and based on an evidence destruction order issued by the District Attorney's Office and the status of the seized items.
The destruction process involved placing the methamphetamine in a blender filled with water, stirring until dissolved, and then flushing it down the toilet.
The Bengkulu Regional Police Drug Investigation Directorate urged the public not to become involved in drug abuse or illicit trafficking.
"This destruction demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that narcotics evidence from these cases will not re-circulate and harm the younger generation. We invite the public to work together to combat drugs for a healthy and safe future," stated Inspector Yudha Ferry.
With this destruction, the police hope that the anti-drug message will be widely disseminated and become part of a joint effort to create a drug-free Bengkulu.
