Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. During the 2025 Indonesian National Football Association (PSSI) Ordinary Congress, Bhayangkara Presisi FC officially changed its name and home base, antaranews.com reported on Friday (6/6/2025).
The club is now known as Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC, with its new home base in Bandar Lampung, Lampung, moving from its previous base in Surabaya in East java
The change follows Bhayangkara’s promotion to Liga 1 league after reaching the Liga 2 league final, where they were defeated by PSIM Yogyakarta. The relocation marked the return of a top-tier professional football club to Lampung for the first time since Badak Lampung FC competed in the 2019/2020 season.
Bhayangkara will now call Stadion Sumpah Pemuda in Kedaton, Bandar Lampung, its new home, a venue that holds approximately 25,000 spectators. The decision came after evaluating other options, including Stadion Pakansari in Bogor.
In addition to Bhayangkara, six other clubs underwent similar changes. Among them, Persikas Subang has been rebranded as Sumsel United. In total, 24 clubs changed names and one changed its domicile, reflecting broader restructuring efforts in Indonesian football ahead of the 2025/2026 season.
