Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Stand-up comedian Pandji Pragiwaksono underwent a marathon clarification session at the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional on Friday (6/2/2026).
Accompanied by his attorney, Haris Azhar, he was questioned for nearly eight hours regarding his Netflix comedy special, Mens Rea. Investigators posed 63 questions focusing on his personal data, the organization of his world tour, and specific segments of his performance that allegedly touched on religious blasphemy.
"There were 63 questions, and we just finished," Haris said, as cited by antaranews.com, adding that the inquiry included clips from the special concerning prayer practices, mining concessions granted to religious organizations, and socio-political issues in West Java.
Despite the report alleging blasphemy, Pandji maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings.
"I am in a position where I do not feel I committed blasphemy. The process went smoothly, the questions were answered, and we will simply follow the ongoing legal process," he told reporters.
The clarification session is part of a preliminary investigation to determine if the reports filed against the comedian warrant a full criminal case.
