inp.polri.go.id - The students of High School and Junior High School in Bireuen on Sunday evening held Mural Action Week presented by BIreuen Police in collaboration with Rangka Sastra and supported by DKA Bireuen to celebrate the 77th Independence Day of Indonesia.
The vent was held at Rangka Sastra Office in Gampong Baro, Bireuen and participated by many youngsters., Tuesday (8/16).
The Head of Culture of the Bireuen Education and Culture Office, Reza Fitria said the number of participants was limited, because there’s not enough wall for the competition, although participants from other schools were enthusiastic to register from morning.
In her remarks, she appreciated Rangkang Sastra and Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Mike Hardy Wirapraja for the event of Mural Action Week.
“Instead of doing unnecessary murals, we gave them some media so that they can express themselves better, and they did great,” said Reza Fitria.
Bireuen Police Chief also said his hope to Rangkang Sastra to be able to socialize this Mural event to the wider community, so that this kind of event could be improved to be much better. He adds that art have an important role in society such as moving the wheels of economy and made certain place able to attract tourists.
