inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) kitchen for Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) at the Blora Sub-regional Police in Central Java has served 2,515 beneficiaries from various educational levels.
Denny Daniswara, Head of the Blora SPPG, revealed that the kitchen, which officially began operating on October 10th, is located in the Blora Sub-regional Police Headquarters complex and has distributed meals to 28 schools in the surrounding area.
"We have been operating since last Friday, targeting 28 schools from preschool, kindergarten, to vocational high school levels. There are a total of 2,515 beneficiaries," said Denny on Tuesday (10/14/2025).
He stated that of these beneficiaries, approximately 1,400 large portions and 1,100 small portions are prepared daily.
"This program will run for two weeks in the first period. However, the number of recipients is likely to increase in subsequent periods," he concluded.
Furthermore, Denny states that the SPPG kitchen employs around 50 volunteers who work daily from morning to afternoon.
"There are 47 volunteers focused on the kitchen and operations, and three others for administration and other support," continued Denny.
He explained that all menus served comply with the technical guidelines from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), both in terms of nutrition and food safety.
Meanwhile, Blora Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Wawan Andi Susanto, emphasized that the presence of the SPPG kitchen within the police precinct is not only for internal needs, but also part of an effort to support President Prabowo Subianto's strategic national program to accelerate the fulfillment of the nation's children's nutritional needs.
"This SPPG kitchen is a central service unit tasked with preparing, cooking, and distributing nutritious food according to the standards set by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN)," said Wawan.
He added that the presence of the Blora Sub-regional Police SPPG kitchen is part of the Central Java Regional Police's initiative to establish 26 SPPG kitchens throughout Central Java Province.
