Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has uncovered an illegal drug manufacturing operation within a residential neighborhood in West Java.
In collaboration with the West Java Regional Police and the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM), the joint team seized hundreds of thousands of illegal pills and detained several suspects.
BNN revealed in its statement on Thursday (7/11/2024) that the operation began with a raid on a house used as a drug production facility in Sumedang, West Java, on Monday. Authorities discovered large quantities of the banned drug Trihexyphenidyl, ready for distribution.
Seven suspects were taken into custody, along with evidence, and handed over to the West Java Police for further investigation.
