inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah awarded the highest star of Brunei Darussalam "Darjah Kerabat Laila Utama Yang Amat Dihormati" (D. K.) to President Prabowo Subianto.

The pinning procession took place as part of President Prabowo's state visit to the Nurul Iman Palace, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, Wednesday (5/14/2025).

In several photos uploaded by President Prabowo Subianto's Media Team, the pinning of the star of glory D. K. was witnessed by a number of high-ranking officials of the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam and several ministers of the Red and White Cabinet.

On a separate occasion, Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana, explained that the star of glory awarded to President Prabowo was the highest form of respect from the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam.

"The awarding of the Star of Glory of the State of Brunei Darussalam was given by the Sultanate of Brunei as the highest form of respect to heads of state and world leaders who are considered to have contributed to advancing cooperative relations with Brunei Darussalam," said Yusuf Permana.

President Prabowo visited Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, Wednesday (5/14/2025), for a state visit and met with Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah at the Nurul Iman Palace. President Prabowo departed from Jakarta at around 07.00 am, and landed at Brunei International Airport at 10.20 am local time.

The President then transited at a hotel in the Bandar Seri Begawan area, then the President of the Republic of Indonesia was escorted to the Nurul Iman Palace by the Crown Prince of the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam, Prince Al Muhtadee Billah.

At the Nurul Iman Palace, President Prabowo was welcomed by a state ceremony. President Prabowo and Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah then led a bilateral meeting of the delegations of each country.
