The President Director of the State Logistics Agency (Bulog), Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, confirmed that the 10-kilogram (kg) rice and Food Supply and Price Stabilization (SPHP) rice assistance program will not accept the people who are involved in online gambling and terrorism.

"We assure you that individuals involved in online gambling and radical terrorism will not receive this food assistance. There are regulations in place," said the Bulog President Director on Saturday (8/2/2025).

He explained that to ensure the distribution of this food assistance is targeted, his office has accurate data on groups categorized as ineligible recipients.

Furthermore, Bulog has used a special application system to distribute the food assistance. Each recipient will have a barcode that can be scanned and their data matched with their National Identity Card (KTP).

He explained that, in addition to a strict acceptance system, Bulog has collaborated with the Indonesian National Military Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (INP) to oversee the distribution of food aid to these communities.

"Of course, we are closely monitoring and supervising the distribution of the SPHP together with our partners from the TNI and INP. This is to prevent misuse by certain individuals. We don't want this to happen again like in previous years," he said.

In this case, Bulog has been tasked with distributing food aid for the period of June and July 2025. The aid consists of 10-kilogram packages of rice, totaling 1.3 million tons of rice nationwide.

"We have been instructed to distribute this rice throughout Indonesia, totaling 1.3 million tons of rice," he said.
