Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Jakarta Corruption Court sentenced Muhammad Kerry Andrianto Riza to 15 years in prison on Friday (27/2/2026) for his role in a massive crude oil and refinery product procurement scandal between 2018 and 2023.
Presiding Judge Fajar Kusuma Aji ruled that Kerry, the son of fugitive tycoon Riza Chalid, caused staggering state losses totaling US$ 2.73 billion and Rp 25.45 trillion through fraudulent vessel charters and fuel terminal schemes, according to antaranews.com
In addition to his prison term, the court ordered Kerry to pay a Rp1 billion fine and Rp2.9 trillion in restitution. Failure to pay the compensation will result in an additional five years of imprisonment.
Two accomplices, Dimas Werhaspati and Gading Ramadhan Joedo, received 13-year sentences. The bench ruled that the defendants’ actions severely undermined national anti-corruption efforts.
