To commemorate National Children's Day (HAN) 2025, the Directorate of Protection of Women and Children, and Eradication of Human Trafficking (PPA and PPO) of the Indonesian National Police (INP) held an interactive activity with children at the Pesona RPTRA in Manggarai, Tebet District, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (7/23/2025).
This activity was implemented by Sub-Directorate II of PPA and PPO of INP through an educational and recreational approach. Children were invited to participate in various traditional games, exciting competitions, and Rise and Speak activities that encouraged them to voice their opinions and dreams.
The Director of PPA and PPO Directorate, Brigadier General Nurul Azizah delivered her speech at the event. In her statement, she emphasized INP’s commitment to protecting children as the nation's most valuable asset.
"On this National Children's Day 2025, allow me to express my sincere respect and affection for all Indonesian children, the hope for the nation's future. Children are a responsibility and the most valuable asset that we must protect. They have the right to grow up in a safe, loving environment, free from all forms of violence and exploitation," she said.
Nurul also emphasized that her party not only focuses on law enforcement but also prioritizes a humanistic approach and supports victims.
"As a law enforcement institution, we continue to strengthen our commitment to being present as protectors, defenders, and drivers of change in child protection issues. We believe that law enforcement work must be accompanied by a humanistic approach, upholding the best interests of children," she added.
Through activities like this, it is hoped that the spirit of collaboration between officials, the public, and communities in realizing a child-friendly Indonesia will continue to grow.
